Electric Overhead Travelling Crane (EOTC)

We provide accredited operator training on electric overhead travelling cranes (EOTC) also known as gantry cranes;

Courses are available covering training on structurally mounted or floor mounted, fully or partially rotating jib arms. Training covering the safe operation of manual and electric hoists is also available nationwide.

Duration of Course

Novice operator 2 Days. Maximum 3 delegates

Experienced operator & Safety refresher 1 Day. Maximum 3 delegates

Description of Course

To instruct new or existing operators in the use of inside or outside pendant or remote controlled overhead gantry cranes and Jib arm cranes in Factories, workshops, warehouses and offshore environments. This course is also designed to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills necessary for safe slinging and transferring loads using various attachments and specialist lifting tackle on cranes.

• Correct slinging techniques
